About Company Registration in Malaysia

The company secretary is a person appointed and licensed by the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) formerly known as the Registrar of Companies and the company secretary acts to manage all matters relating to the establishment of the company. Directors are also entitled to do the same thing whenever it is not satisfied with the services provided by the company secretary. Dismissal of the company secretary can be done at any time and by the end of the post, the appointment of a new company secretary should be done by the board of directors within 30 days of termination.
